An exellent history lesson, well told. Really delves into the plitical thought of the times. It evoles around the importance and concept of property and the generation of political power.
I am a military history buff. I read this book out of a diversionary break. I bought it on recommendations and found that it was quite interesting and the narrator was really awesome. Not a work of art by any means but a nice change-up!
If you are a military history buff, this is NOT for you. This book is more like a Steven Segal action movie. Not terrible, just not much to it.
This was another great book/story from Mr. Johnson and crew. I have read them all. While the story was excellent it was way too short for a "book" (3hr, 39 minutes). More like a short story. I still reccommend however.
This is a shameless knock off of The Hunger Games but still an interesting read and the same sort of fun as in the hunger games. If you liked Hunger games you will like this.
The narrator for this book is absolutely fabulous. The book is still "Crime and Punishment" but Mr. Griffin makes it absolutely entertaining and saves the day.
My first Longmire book and I plan to read more. I was not expecting a work of art, just a good read and that is what I got. I was inspired by the TV show. I read fiction as a break from my first love (military history) and this was perfect.
Protagonist was just too "full of himself". I got tired of him fairly early.
There are much better books out there.
Interesting story that incorporates a history of Ethiopia. It is believeable with very interesting twists.
This is a great story, well told, with believeable, real, personable characters.
Not just for kids.
