"Just as great as I remembered it!"
I recently took a trip that required many hours of flying, and I'm a nervous flyer. Whenever we hit some "rough air" I put my headphones on and listened to this classic story. The narration was soothing and made me forget how bumpy the flight was.
The only thing I would change is the volume control. Sometimes the noise around me was almost louder than the audible volume control could match.
I also used this audible to drown out my friend's extremely loud snoring, as we shared a cabin on a cruise ship for 6 days! Because the background noise wasn't as loud as in the plane it worked great!
"Dr. Seuss is still a favorite!"
no.
none.
Hie voice is very expressive of the mood and excitement of the story.
The first line always gets me!
Has it ever been considered to have pictures that follow the story? I think with children's books it would keep a little one's attention longer.
