I listen to books on tape while driving 1.5 hours each way to work. This is probably the most enjoyable book I have read all year.
This was the ending I was hoping for. It completed everything in the first 13 books. Very few loose ends and I am satisfied with the entire read.
The content of the book may be very good, but I couldn't get past the narration. The author does her own book a disservice by reading it. She should have hired a professional reader who could have put some life into her characters. I stopped listening after the second chapter. I couldn't take it anymore.
I have never read Stephen King before, so I was anxious to hear this one. BAD, BAD, BAD. I didn't get through the book and stopped after 3:30 hours. I haven't stopped a book in over two years of hearing books on tape. The story line is slow, the characters are not very interesting, and I found myself switching to the radio often because I was falling asleep at the wheel. This book did nothing to awaken my imagination and my only wish was for the book to end.
Words cannot express how much I enjoyed listening to this book. I only wished it was longer!
I enjoyed this novel very much. Interesting from the very beginning and only got better.
The best book I have heard this year. I have listened to over 20 novels and this one took my breathe away.
I just couldn't get into this book. I drive to work for 3 hours and day, so I listen to a lot of books. The start was very slow and I didn't find it interesting enough to keep going.
