    Assertions like these seem comical until you realize that many Christian parents aren't kidding when they teach them to their children as facts. Every day, impressionable young minds are conditioned to blindly accept wild biblical tales of floating zoos, talking shrubbery, 900-year-old humans, the undead, curses, levitation, demon/human hybrids and men who obtain super-human strength from the length of their hair. Allegiance to these teachings is expected, often demanded.

    Would you consider the audio edition of Deconverted to be better than the print version?

    I think this version is better because it is actually read by the author who on top of being a radio broadcaster makes you feel like he is having a conversation with you. It is very entertaining.


    What does Seth Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    He makes you feel like he is sitting across from you at a table enjoying a cup of joe and telling you about his life.

    I have met Seth once and he is one of the nicest most kind individuals I have every had the pleasure of sharing company with. Everyone should take some time to read this book, religious or not.

    I know this book is a collection of stories but its more like an over arching story with smaller stories in it. Gets hard to follow.

    I liked how not only did it talk about the bad part of military action (PTSD etc.) but also the good side and how some people have adopted the military as their family.

    "The New New Rules" Is an interesting and entertaining book but it not meant for audio listeners. You will spend most of your time listening to Bill say "New Rule" before ever paragraph he reads. It gets old....fast... I didn't realize this book is primarily a list and that doesn't work well in an audio format.

    Would you consider the audio edition of Ghost in the Wires to be better than the print version?

    I think the print may be better here due to the amount of numbers listed again and again. While it is not important to remember these they due distract from the story when the reader is listing them off.


    What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

    The twists and turns this story takes, what an amazing life to have lived!


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes! I couldn't put this book down finished it in 3 days!

    If you lived through the ages of fax machines and when computers were really just in their infancy this is a must read!

    The ending has a great moral for everyone no matter who you are.

    The book while disguised as a discussion on atheism is far from the mark. While there are athiest themes and stories much of the book is focused on Penn Jillet's crazy stories from his previous years. These stories can be very X rated and work F*ck needs a counter. However if you enjoy crazy stories with a side of good morals, this could be a book for you.
