Provides several ideas for newbies to the internet business world. Joel Comm does make what he speaks of seem easier than it is in reality. He is also pretty blatant in promoting himself, his products and his own affiliates. If you can look thru his marketing efforts you can gleam some good tidbits of info on internet money-making methods.
Entertaining but quite predictable throughout. More like your everyday run of the mill detective story with not too well hidden liberal political agenda. Big bad society misunderstands or is the cause of individual deviance. The teenage black character Jerome is depicted as brilliant Ivy League bound high school student despite his feelings of prejudicial treatment. The low class, minimum wage white guy, computer junkie and terrorist. Brady, is a psychological deviat and incestuous pervert (but not a radical Muslim cause they would never attempt the horrific acts the white guy would). The suicidal retired fat cop "Hodges who's much smarter than all the other cops still on the force and who just hops in the sack with a beautiful younger blond employer the first day they meet and then helps stop the would be mass murderer cause the regular cops are publicity seeking idiots. The anxiety crippled, twice institutionalized, middle aged "Molly" who is also naturally a computer expert and weapon swinging heroin who comes to save the day and lives happily ever after. And on and on and on.
Other than this I guess the book was pretty realistic feeling. (Tom Clancy could have given King some lessons on reality based writing). King ought to stick with the supernatural and bizarre rather than trying to write this dime-a-dozen detective novel. Leave those to the amateurs.
I,ve read his novels for years however in his old age King has become more of a puppy mill writer, pumping out book after book regardless of quality and more as a money machine. Kaching! Readers keep buying hoping for the 1970's -80s King novel to reappear. Its now just hit or miss. This was a miss. An amateur came up with this plot but the writing was still well done in King style.
Not sure but this book was well done.
No way. I bet it ends the same.
I graduated from U-Maine a couple of years after Stephen King and I retired a few years ago. Its time for King to do the same and spend summers in Maine and winters in Florida with the all us Maniac snow birds
Data driven analysis is good but it contradicts current medical profession arguments about cholesterol hazards.
Lots of controversial ideas
I enjoy reading about both sides of an issue and this is definitely not the mainstream view
No, I rarely listen or read a book more than once.
Too many questions in this survey
Cutesie but not my reading preference
No. Not my style. I like action , adventure, science , business etc
Easy to listen to.
Yes, because O'reilly narrates his own book.
Killing Lincoln, for obvious reasons.
familiarity with his voice and no-nonsense reporting style.
Kennedy's and Martin Luther King's sexual indescretions and addiction to illicit sex and power.
Great historical research and accurate representation of not-so-great, fallible historical figures immortalized by a biased media. This is a more accurate representation of mortal men and their flaws along with their successes. A fair and balanced view. A must read for historians seeking out a truthful analysis af the Kennedy era.
Fairly slow paced heart-warming story about brilliant Owen Meany, a poor runt of a boy, and his close childhood friend who comes to respect him immensely. Owens knowledge of his death to come is challenged by his friend who knows Owen is special in many ways but does not want the dire prediction to come true.
Well written and well read.
Time travel is a trademark of many King novels. This is another example of King's ability to have us travel through time and wonder how things might be if we could change the past. Would the world have been better or worse if J F Kennedy had not been killed?
As usual, King's typical liberal leaning political views are evident but if you can overlook those the book is entertaining.
Reiterates advantages of Aerobic exercise. From psychological to physical health, this book will motivate you to be more active and get off the couch. Great research data.
Conservatives will love her detailed description of dirty politics in the Obama administration. Chicago corruption has moved to the white house. Scary what another 4-years of Obama will do to the once capitalistic American culture.
Very Entertaining. Must read if already finished first two in series.I hope S. Collins writes new material soon.
