When Dr. Mike Scanlon is called to serve as an army doctor in Afghanistan, he’s acutely aware of the dangers he’ll face and the hardships it will bring his wife, Chloe, and their newborn baby. And deep inside, he doesn’t think of himself as a hero, but a healer. However, in an ironic turn of events, as Mike operates on a wounded soldier in a war-torn country, Chloe dies at home in the suburbs, in an apparently freak household accident. Devastated, he returns home to bury her, only to discover that the life he left behind has fallen apart.

What would have made Don't Go better?

This story is insipid. It seems as tho she came up with the premise years ago & altered the story to fit present day war. There's no reason to like or care about any of the charactors.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lisa Scottoline again?

I have listened to all her previous novels. This book is NOT representative of her work.

What three words best describe Jeremy Davidson’s performance?

    Fine, unexciting, unmemorable

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The books opens with a bang & the rest is all fizzle.

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben set huge sales records with last year’s Six Years - and he’s poised to do it again in his next breathtaking stand-alone thriller. Harlan Coben, author of six consecutive instant number-one New York Times best sellers and a total of 24 award-winning, best-selling, and internationally acclaimed novels, returns with another ripped-from-real-life thriller full of impossibly high emotional stakes and the real-to-life characters for which he has become famous.

What about January LaVoy’s performance did you like?

This was one of the best read books I've listened to. She portrayed women and men well. I had a sense of who was who very quickly. I'm going to look up other books she's narrated.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Catfish -- The Untrue Story

Mickey Bolitar’s year can’t get much worse. After witnessing his father’s death and sending his mom to rehab, he’s forced to live with his estranged uncle Myron and switch high schools. A new school comes with new friends and new enemies, and lucky for Mickey, it also comes with a great new girlfriend, Ashley. For a while, it seems like Mickey’s train wreck of a life is finally improving - until Ashley vanishes without a trace. Unwilling to let another person walk out of his life, Mickey follows Ashley’s trail into a seedy underworld that reveals that this seemingly sweet, shy girl isn’t who she claimed to be.
