This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Don't get me wrong. ! am a huge fan of te Big Book of Alcoholics Anonmyous. This is clearly narrated by someone who had never read the book before he started reading it. The cadance is wrong, the pronounciation is wrong, and he can't even read correctly or doesn't care. "Rarely have we seen a person fall..." No. It is the beginning of an essential part of the book - "Rarely have we seen a person FAIL...". The narrator seemed to have taken a job and not a mission. Don't bother. It is not pleasant to listen to.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jason McCoy?

Anyone who had actually READ the book before he or she started reading it for the recording.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance, disappointment, frustration with the lost opportunity to do a good job for a community that would deeply appreciate a well done version of this work.

    Any additional comments?

I want my credit back and the potential audience warned that what they are getting is not what was carefully written by the founders of AA.
