I work best when I have an excellent audio book & this one was riveting. It not only held my attention I just couldn't put it down. To my surprise Laura Caldwell did a great job with narration. Most authors just can't pull narration off Miss Caldwell nailed it.
Catharine O'Daniel the author did a great job illustrating Mrs. O'Daniel's energy, talent and drive for law
SIDE note to Miss Caldwell PLEASE PLEASE write a book about Catharine O'Daniel. I need to know what makes her tick. I will order it today!
Eileen Cronin's style reminds me of David Sadaris but her life story, needless to say, was a bit heavier. Both great authors!
LEFT Neglected; The Long Run and last but not least Crashing Through. Julia Fox Garrison's book along with the list above are based on true stories. They are all related in that the main character unexpectedly faces major obstacles. The final book I listed, Crashing Through, is ironic because the main character gains a sense. The gained sense is his obstacle.
Well written, very interesting & enlightening. **EXCELLENT choice in narration by: Dominic Hoffman.
I don't feel this book should be judged/rated by one's opinion of the author's past. Judge this obviously well written book with it's amazing story line and perspective. Or stay in your little, close minded world and condemn him but never his amazing book!
Worth listening to but the author should NOT have read the story very painful to listen to.
Not only did this book didn't live up to the title it just sucked!
Andre Agassi's book was outstanding!!!!
