"Disturbing"
I must first admit to have enjoyed Wilde since high school, many years ago. His wit and sarcastic view of people is refreshing. It is amazing how differently his work seems after three decades. Be prepared to have this book haunt you for a while.
"Excellent book"
Yes, I would listen to this book again because it covers so much and it was easy to listen to all the subject matter beautifully explained with real life stories.
The author explains in adequate detail why our world needs introverts and how to create a working dialog between introverts and extroverts.
This is my first audiobook read by Ms. Mazur and I think she did a great job.
The author's intent that the reader feels comfortable in being who she/he is in the temperament continuum.
I've recommended this book to many people I meet, including my son who is a wonderful introvert.
"Beautifully read"
I enjoyed the first time I listened to this book but probably won't listen to it again.
Cider House Rules
The range of voices this reader can do is impressive.
I don't know if I would like to visit with any of these quirky characters.
"Enchanting"
Yes, I would listen to this story again. There is so much going on that I would get lots out of a second time.
I loved the Japanese neighbor.
I don't think so.
Oh, it made me so sad but in a good way.
"For dog lovers only"
I don't know. I expected a fun story with dogs and people.
Not been so cutesy.
No.
All of them.
"Entertaining and fun"
No, but I enjoyed listening to this story.
I liked the support the ladies at the salon had for each other.
First time listening to Ms. Miles, I think.
Lucy the neighbor was a hoot.
"Kellerman does it again"
Jonathan Kellerman's stories are at the top of my favorites in audio or print form.
I love Milo Sturgis and his sarcastic take on police work.
Again, Milo Sturgis is my favorite.
I don't know.
"Nice break from long stories"
I enjoyed the variety and meeting new characters.
I would have left out some of the sexual details of the main character's work.
Sure.
Listen to more short stories and independent works.
"Predictable but fun"
It ranks at a five out of ten.
I enjoyed the dialogue and relationships between some of the characters.
Susan Boyce does an OK job in this book.
Not really, it for made good company during my walks and runs.
"Disappointing"
The characters needed to be more human and less stereotypical. This book needed more humor and less self righteousness. I didn't care what happened to these characters and stopped listening early on.
Maybe.
So so.
Apathy.
"Trite"
This book attempted so much and failed at times. The characters seemed shallow and incomplete. The author fails to see how complex women really are. We are not either mothers or professionals.
