"Reacher rides again!"
I love Jack Reacher books and have read them all, this one is one of my favorites. I love his thought processes and how he anticipates what the other guy is going to do and the subtle humor. Dick Hill does an EXCELLENT job of narrating.
"Narrator not up to par for female part"
The narrator has a very deep voice and I love his portayal of Sam, however, Isabella's character comes off as stilted, monotoned and hard to distinquish. I'm having a hard time getting the chemistry between the two because of her voice. It probably would have been better to read this one with my eyes. I will definitely finish it though because I loved Caine's Reckoning and want to stay in touch with the story. I've just gotten to the first sexual scene and it's pretty hot, I have to say!
"My favorite book"
I have read this book many times over the last 20 years, it is my all time favorite by Sandra Brown and getting to hear Dick Hill be the voice of Cash Boudreau was a real treat!
"Loved it!"
I really enjoyed this book; Clete and Dave are getting up in years but still vital, believable characters. This book does get into Clete's head more. I love how he attracts all these women. I also was impressed with the redemption aspect of some of the characters.
"Urgh!"
I agree with Jud 100 percent. This book has no worthwhile storyline. I also wondered how an 18th century young woman could have so much sex and not even give a thought to the ramifications. I enjoy a good erotic book once in a while but it has to have some discretion. I quit reading after the first hour or so, I saw no point in continuing
"Corey and Mayfield what a combo"
I just finished the fourth novel in the Corey/Mayfield series and I loved it as much as all the others. My only objection to the story was that I thought Kate should have been a little stronger. She's his boss yet she always gave in to him. Everytime she gave a command that they should report in to the boss, he rejected it. It got on my nerves a little, but then after all - we wouldn't have much of a story if he followed her lead or I guess I should say - he wouldn't have been the hero in the end. I hope DeMille writes more about this dynamic duo.
"Magic"
I'm not much of a reviewer, but I really enjoyed this book. The plot was well done, it amazed me that one photo could bring about such tragic events. I thought the narrator did an excellent job, especially with Laughton. I could picture him as a cop in his lucid moments and in his confused state he was at times a crack up with his attitude toward Thorn and sad when he was over tired. The ending left an opening for a sequel. I will definitely look forward to more from this author.
"Loved it"
I've read some of Tami's older novels, this is the first audio I've listened to of hers and will listen to some of the others she has available. Scott Brick did a great job of narrating, I'll listen to some of his other work. I would enjoy reading more about Kevin Parker, I think there's alot that could be done with his character. The two youngsters in this book were very well done, I especially enjoyed Tyler.
"Metro Girl"
This is my first Janet Evanovich book, I know other people who really enjoy her but I doubt I'll read any other of her books. The narrator of this story is really ruining it, I keep thinking it might have been better to read this book with my eyes and then I might have enjoyed it more. She does a terrible job with NASCAR guy and the other males.
