Simon Vance gives an incredible performance. Reading this made me look for his other performances on Audible of which he has many. He is one of my favorite narrators.

I never thought I would be interested in this genre but my son got me to read them and I enjoyed so much I purchased the entire trilogy. I am sorry that we lost Stieg Laarson, a truly great talent.

The facts and issues deserved a more fully developed story line. I would rather have seen this written as non fiction. The way he decided to present his knowledge comes close to insulting your intelligence. I guess he wrote it so that even a fool would not err in understanding it.

This could have been a fantastic book. Instead, I found it boring and practically silly.
Sort of like "Grasshopper" and "Master" stuff.

Not without checking it out more thoroughly. He is a sensitive, intelligent, aware and insightful man, I was disappointed.

The facts remain, thankfully. The facts are the redeeming qualities.

Could have Googled a YouTube on Harbinger and watched an interview and gotten as much information in 30 minutes.

I totally love the trip into the past. In my mind, things were so much better back then, I was a young girl. But realistically, evil was alive an well in my perfect naive past. I was amazed to the extent to which King goes to develop characters. I didn't stop thinking about the book when I had to take a break from it. Now, I am very aware of sneezing, flu infected people and find myself wanting to avoid big crowds and sick people. Hahaha.

11.22.63. King's M. O. is to develop his characters to the point they are unforgettable.

Gardner has a flair for mimicry. His talent really fleshes out the characters.Adept at getting into character and has an uncanny understanding of King's intent.

I am new to SK and this was my first listen. I have never read SK.

There were times when I laughed, and times I wept, times that I was riveted and could not put it down and all the way through, I was so happy that it was a nice LONG book!I loved the trips back in time and appreciated his attention to every detail of what we experienced living through that era. We all remember "that day". Made me feel as if I were right there with him, all the way.

The dance of life was my favorite scene. I listened to that several times, shared it with my husband and every time, I wept. Stephen King was brilliant and worked his magic on me with that scene. Unforgettable!

Thankfully, the book was long and 47+ hours is not a book you can take in one sitting, yet I have to admit, I would listen for hours on end and never once could I get bored or lose track.

Because this was my first Stephen King, I have already purchased another...The Stand and I am looking forward to enjoying it just as much.

This book pretty much sticks to the television season one of the series.

If you haven't seen the TV show, it might be more interesting. It was well done but no surprises for me since I watched every episode of the TV season one.

Yes, I would listen to Total Recall again. The author has had an incredibly interesting life. I have a newfound respect for Arnold after reading the book that I didn't have before. Book is an informative read to say the least. A man that earned everything he has ever had. Every step of the way, his life and drive were inspiring, seriously!

The book is long and never ever boring but it's length would make it impossible to listen to in one sitting unless you have nothing but time. I love LONG books!
