"Not as great as the book actually"
I liked the story... loved Micah but the narrators pronouciation of his name as Meecah is driving me NUTS
"Are y'all listening to the same BOOK???"
If you are contemplating the book and/or the series and want some hawt! sexy! escapism fun... you can't miss...
I thought it was a creative and fun story read by a narrator who could make even the most prudish man-hater wiggle in her chair (and if graphic sex bothers you maybe a Nora Roberts book might be better choice for you). But before you answer with hate reviews... I know everyone is allowed their own opinions, IT'S why God made so many flavors of ice cream. (Mine just happens to be the dynamic duo of Sarah and Jason)
I really hope he gets to narrate more of her series. Sarah may always be controversial, but from my little corner of the Planet it was a blast to listen to... once, twice (and even bookmark some of the reallllly nice parts.)
In my experience, life has way of being much too serious and MUCH to short to worry about how much sex is just too sexy! I would honestly suggest you take that ride along with Sarah and Jason and if he doesn't make you purr a time or two, you might be just taking life AND yourself a tad too seriously.
For those that love the genre it is totally worth a credit, just to see where you fall in the swoon-when-he-tells-the-story or grumbles-he-just-doesn't-do-it-for-you side of the fence.
Here's to hoping you enjoy it as much as I did!!!
P.S. For the person that called it "down and dirty"... you say that like it's a bad thing!
"Slide into the Big Easy"
If you like the Robicheaux series it is like sitting in the bay window watching the rain fall into the bayou. Makes me homesick for the city, the people and the warmth that fills your soul with a good mystery
