"A great sequel"
I loved the fact that we follow up on our hero Jack Sawyer. He is grown into an adult, but he is still the sensitive boy/man that you came to love in the Talisman. Also, if you are a true King fan, it does not hurt that we see a bit of the Dark Tower story as well.
"A HOME RUN!!"
Wow, Wow, Wow
Lam (Logen Nine Fingers), of course. But the new characters of Shy and Temple were great as well.
SP is really unbelievable! How he can make you feel the actions though his voice. Job well done.
I laughed in places at the reactions of my "old friends" and was sad to see them leave when the book ended. I will be listening to this again!
If you have not read/listened to the other Joe A.'s books in this series, please do before this one. I think you need the others to help you enjoy Red Country even more.
"Why did it have to end?"
Riviting
A story within a story, both great.
Although you do have the Master himself reading to you, Mr. King is not a narrator.
I loved it! I will be listening/reading again.
"A Wonder!"
Wow, I had no idea that the life of an assasin could be so engrossing. A friend suggested the Shadow Trilogy and I am glad I listened. The first book takes a lot of getting used to, but is well worth it. I can hardly wait for Brent Weeks to create other Durzo Blint stories.
