I have been in management and leadership for many years and struggled with it. This book explained why. This book is a summary of many years of research about what truly motivates humans -- hint: it isn't more money!! The book also teaches how to apply the results of these findings. This book is a must read for anyone who wants truly motivate a team and create exponential productivity.
This book is a very entertaining collection of short stories that will teach financial wisdom. The stories are about how the ancients created wealth. The surprising part is that it all makes sense. I recommend listening to this with paper and pen so that you can write down these lessons. they will not be hard to find. In fact, they are in several places. A few of them are common sense but when they are woven into such an interesting story such as this, the lesson sticks better.
The second time I listened to this, I had pen and paper and I wrote down the lessons. I applied them to the way I handled my money. They work.. and they work well. I had initially listened to this recording several years from another source. I downloaded it to have my own copy and I am glad I did.
The methods outlined in this book are practical and easy to implement into one's. The lessons are taught two ways. As a series of principles and then a person's (fictious) stories. While the scenario in the story was ideal, it still did a great job of teaching how to apply them.
