Madison Tyler thought a man like Granville Washington could fulfill her sexual desires and her need for occasional male companionship. And as the owner of a multimillion-dollar multimedia firm, that’s as much as Madison wants or needs right now. Granville is desperate to hold on to Madison. The harder she tries to end contact with him, the harder he fights to stay connected to her. He knows she doesn’t love him the way he loves her - she’s repeatedly said so - but if she takes time to get to know the man behind the muscles, he’s convinced she’ll agree that they’re perfect for each other.

If you could sum up If I Can’t Have You in three words, what would they be?

    Got it good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I would say the villain, Gradsville. He was a shovenistic pig who had me laughing with his thoughts and actions. Reminds me of people I come across sometimes.

Have you listened to any of Nicole Small and Cary Hite ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first performance I've heard from Nicole Small. I've heard Cary Hite's before. This one really allowed a listener to hear how multi talented he is.

Who was the most memorable character of If I Can’t Have You and why?

Gradsville, b/c he was never wrong, in his eyes, no matter what he did or how stupid he acted.

    Any additional comments?

Nicole Small and Cary Hite really gave this story life. Without a doubt they were the ones who got me into reading and listening to Mary B Morrison's work. Already love Cary Hites's performances, I plan to check out more of Nicole Small's.

Would you consider the audio edition of Murderville 2 to be better than the print version?

Yes and no. What your imagination leaves out, the audio picks up. This audio gives this story it's props.

What did you like best about this story?

This one had me giggling and gasping for air. Certain parts I replayed a couple of times.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Liberty's cousin does a certain thing that proves she is queen of blackmailing. Couldn't stop thinking about even a few chapters afterwards, as well as when I wasn't listening to it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh yes. Unfortunately b/c of work and having to rest I couldn't but every chance I could I did even when I would go to sleep.

    Any additional comments?

The way Ashley and JaQuavis left you hanging at the end, I am counting down til the 3rd sequel comes out. Get ready for it to affect you to the point where whoever incounters you will ask "whats got you on a high?"

Where does Murderville rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'll have to say 1.75. The Gideon series by Eric Jerome Dickey is still my #1 series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Murderville?

When A'Sai's mom, Willow, was taken fron him. That question is a migraine due there being so many.

Have you listened to any of Cary Hite’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my 1st listen to Cary Hite. He is a narrator that will have me follow his work which will introduce me to other authors.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Without a doubt this book was mind blowing. The thrill and action of the street had me grinning and jumping. The drama that A'Shai and Liberty went through from beginning to end had me so mesmerized.

    Any additional comments?

I went out into the field looking for a book to read. Murderville 3 kept being mentioned and how everyone is waiting for it to be released. The 1st one didn't catch my attention but w/ Ashley and JaQuavis being one of my favs I finally gave in. The. book was so good I read it in one day and then went and listened to the unabridged version. I had to turn my phone off both when reading and listening to it b/c my trance kept being broken. Like a good movie the narrator, Cary Hite, sparked their masterpiece. Get ready to be put into another world.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, B/c this a story that will have you laughing everytime you see someone that reminds you of one of the characters in the story.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tthe book is unedited so it is like an unrated movie

If you could take any character from Something on the Side out to dinner, who would it be and why?

CoCo, B/c it would be a trip to watch how she finds her targets, plots, and then goes after them right then and there no time needed w/ no fear. Almost like a class for girls big and small. Lol

    Any additional comments?

It'll be so much more interesting to read the book before listening to, b/c like a reading before watching/listening you'll see how much more you'll get from what you read but you'll see what was left out. Unabridged/unrated.

1st audiobook I listened to. Got me hooked.

What did you like best about this story?

The hitman does work in ALL fields.

What does Dion Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

3D format, like a blu-ray would do for a movie.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh yes. I lauged, jumped, twicted and everything else you do in a good action movie.

    Any additional comments?

Like a book being formatted to a movie, I decied to try an audiobook with one of my favorite books. I fell in love. I still like to read but if the book is that bood I gotta get the audiobook for the realism like a movie does.
