An extraordinarily beautiful Amish woman, a dangerous femme fatale, is the central figure in Linda Castillo's Her Last Breath, a story that reveals a dark side of Painter's Mill and its seemingly perfect Amish world. A rainy night, an Amish father returning home with his three children, a speeding car hurtling toward them out of nowhere. What at first seems like a tragic, but routine car accident suddenly takes on a more sinister cast as evidence emerges that nothing about the crash is accidental.

I love how Linda Castillo writes murder mysteries & manages to put them into the Amish community. I never figure out who the murderer is. She always surprises me. Unfortunately I do not care for how Kate & Tomasetti's relationship is taking forever to progress. I wish Kate would give him a chance. It's been long enough! But I will continue reading this series. I can never put these books down.

Flying halfway 'round the world to meet his potential soul mate sounds like a fine idea to Dylan Sullivan - until he discovers said soul mate, Annie, has gone looking for him. In Australia. Now Dylan's adrift, a bloke from the Outback alone in the bloody big city. Until he's rescued by Monet, a gorgeous local artist… and Annie's best friend. A dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, Monet has never met anyone like Dylan. Taking temporary care of the sizzling-hot cowboy is easy; he's friendly, funny and interesting. Keeping her hands off him is decidedly not easy.

What disappointed you about Misplaced Cowboy?

The book just ended awkwardly! I looked at reviews on Amazon & they said the last chapter is missing in audible. So now I don't know how it ended?! What the heck.

Has Misplaced Cowboy turned you off from other books in this genre?

I won't bother with any of the others in the series. Especially if the endings are thus bad.

I never read the print version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lothaire?

When she asked him to live in the trailer with her!!! OMG I WAS CRACKING UP!! There were so many more parts. To many to list!

Would you listen to Belonging to Them again? Why?

Yes I believe I would listen to it again.

    Any additional comments?

I've read all the Daly Way books and this one is my favorite. I liked Jaime & Reyna's relationship & the fact that while he shared her with his friends in the end she belonged to only him. The characters were much more likable than in the other books.

I like the stories but now they changed narrators & this one is as bad as the first one. Mia the main character doesn't even sound like a 21 yr old modern girl would sound. The narrator runs all her sentences together. She doesn't pause enough between sentences & she doesn't make the men sound masculine enough. You can tell its a very mature woman just reading us a story. I have come to expect more from audio books.
