The second novel set in the Old Republic era and based on the massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: The Old Republic ramps up the action and brings listeners face-to-face for the first time with a Sith warrior to rival the most sinister of the Order’s Dark Lords: Darth Malgus, the mysterious, masked Sith of the wildly popular “Deceived” and “Hope” game trailers. Malgus brought down the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in a brutal assault that shocked the galaxy....

The Sith Empire is in flux. The Emperor is missing, presumed dead, and an ambitious Sith lord’s attempt to seize the throne has ended fatally. Still, Darth Karrid, commander of the fearsome Imperial battle cruiser Ascendant Spear, continues her relentless efforts to achieve total Sith domination of the galaxy. But Karrid’s ruthless determination is more than matched in the steely resolve of Theron Shan, whose unfinished business with the Empire could change the course of the war for good. Though the son of a Jedi master, Theron does not wield the Force - but like his renowned mother, the spirit of rebellion is in his blood.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

Seriously this book is good! Idk why people gave it bad rates. I though it was pure Star Wars the Old Republic and it made me feel like I was listening to someone playing the game!

Once the Sith order teemed with followers. But their rivalries divided them in endless battles for supremacy - until one dark lord at last united the Sith in the quest to enslave the galaxy and exterminate the Jedi. Yet it would fall to another, far more powerful than the entire Brotherhood of Darkness, to ultimately realize the full potential of the Sith, and wield the awesome power of the dark side as never before.

The Covenant has collapsed after a long, brutal war that saw billions slaughtered on Earth and her colonies. For the first time in decades, however, peace finally seems possible. But though the fighting's stopped, the war is far from over: it's just gone underground. The UNSC's feared and secretive Office of Naval Intelligence recruits Kilo-Five, a team of ODSTs, a Spartan, and a diabolical AI to accelerate the Sangheili insurrection.

If you could sum up Halo: Glasslands in three words, what would they be?

    Great, intense, suspenseful

What was one of the most memorable moments of Halo: Glasslands?

*SPOILER* I have to say that when they brought Halsey away. Or maybe the scene when the Sanghilei (can't remember his name) got decked by Naomy... Naomi... Whatever.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Halsey's interrogation.

    Any additional comments?

This book is an Amazing addition to the Halo Univeres and a major gap filler for Halo 3-Halo 4.
