    Where does Sharp Objects rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Sharp Objects is definitely in my all time top 10! I listened to Gillian Flynn's other books and definitely was not disappointed with this one!


    What did you like best about this story?

    the main character is flawed but still very likeable


    What does Ann Marie Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    the narrator can make or break an audiobook....Ann Marie definitely does not disappoint. she completely envelopes the listener into the messed up world of the heroine.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    i laughed, i cried, i cheered....the end of the book had me wishing for more from Gillian Flynn! I've already listened to her other 2 books and now cant wait for Gillian to churn out the next exciting story!

    great story - Tess put out another great book - i loved it!


    What didn’t you like about Tanya Eby’s performance?

    the narrator has a lisp and I found it EXTREMELY distracting....i had to stop listening to the audiobook and go out and buy the hardback.

    Whoever keeps hiring narrators with lisps needs to be fired.

    I LOVED IT AND WOULD DEFINITELY LISTEN AGAIN. THE WAY THE AUTHOR MERGES HISTORY WITH FICTION WAS AMAZING!

    SCOTT DID A GREAT JOB. IT'S VERY EASY FOR A NARRATOR TO COMPLETELY RUIN A STORY, BUT SCOTT IS A GREAT NARRATOR!!

    LISTENING TO THE AUDIO BOOK GIVES THE WHOLE THING A MUCH MORE PERSONAL FEEL. ITS SO EASY TO GET LOST IN THE STORIES AND FEEL LIKE YOU ARE JUST SITTING BACK LISTENING TO YOUR BEST FRIEND. JEN IS AN EXTRODINARY STORY TELLER!

    this is a great book, i read it a few years ago and wanted to listen to it again. the only version available on audible is the abridged version. dont bother with this version - buy the book!! the abridged version cuts out so much background and you dont get to know Rizzoli as well as you should.

    another great story from Patricia Cornwell, but the audio quality was horrible. you can clearly hear where the sections were edited together....not smooth at all


    What didn’t you like about Kate Burton’s performance?

    the different accents werent very good - Jamie Berger ended up sounding like Marissa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny....so did Pete Marino for that matter


    Was Red Mist worth the listening time?

    read the book - dont buy the audiobook

    Would you try another book from P. C. Cast, and Kristin Cast and/or Cassandra Morris?

    OMG!! ANOTHER new narrator? The narrator for books 4 & 5 (Jenna Lamia) was AWESOME!! I loved her. I hate the narrator for this book (Cassandra Morris). It's like listening to Paris Hilton with a lisp. REALLY?!?! Why exactly would you have somebody with a lisp narrating books? Looks like they got a different narrator for the next book - hope she's better!!


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    Zoey of course!


    What didn’t you like about Cassandra Morris’s performance?

    she sounds like Paris Hilton with a lisp.....she cant get the voices right.....and she doesnt pronounce the words correctly
