This books deals with a lot of things we don't usually talk about, and it really makes you face facts. When I listened to the parts about factory farming and treatment of animals, it strengthened my resolve to do more research into this subject, and I have. This book was easy to listen to and provided many good examples, stories, comparisons, and facts. I would recommend it to anyone who is even consdering becoming a vegetarian.
My mother-in-law told me this book would change my life, and she was right! I LOVED it, and can not stop talking about it. I have been to see the author speak in Asheville, have joined a Sunday School discussion class on it, and have met other women for coffee to discuss it. I have bought two copies as gifts for friends and encouraged my mom to read it, too. This book really makes you look inside yourself and ask why you believe as you do. It is a must read.
I loved listening to this book on my way back and forth to work each day. It always gave me something to think about thoughout my day; some new things to consider or try. I found myself really trying to listen to other people and trying to understand where they were coming from as I was listening to this book. She has so many good, practical, and easy ideas to help you be the most positive and happy person you can be. I'm so glad I listened to this book!
