"Love the accent"
Excellent reading, easy to listen to and differentiate the characters. While I am no expert on English accents, Moll Flanders' accent seems appropriate, and I loved listening to it.
"Excellent reading"
This reading is excellent, with characterization shown through the use of different voices with realistic accents.
"Voice is a monotone"
I chose this particular audio version of Frankenstein because it was the shortest. That was a bad idea! Tom Casaletto uses a monotone voice, with little expression. He does use an accent, but I found the reading difficult to keep my mind on because it was so dull. This is the only audio book in which I haven't felt that the reading enhanced the novel. Next time I will listen to samples before choosing the version. The novel itself is a great read, and it's surprising how different it is from the movie versions that have been made from it.
