As CEO, most everything that Rich O'Connor did had something to do with at least one of the four disciplines on his famed "yellow sheet." Rich never suspected that it would become the blueprint of an employee's plan to destroy the firm. Best selling author Lencioni brings us a fable that focuses on a leader's crucial role in building a healthy organization.

The book starts with a fictional account of two businesses that illustrate the books premise that creating a "healthy" organization is as if not more important than having an "intelligent" organization. The story does a good job of delivering the message and keeping the listener interested. The last hour follows with a detailed explanation of the steps to create a healthy organization, and it is something I will go back and listen to multiple time. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to better understand how executive action/inaction affects how their organization acts/performs .

Charlie Wilson's War is the untold story behind the last battle of the Cold War and how it fueled the rise of militant Islam. George Crile tells how Charlie Wilson, a maverick congressman from east Texas, conspired with a rogue CIA operative to launch the biggest, meanest, and most successful covert operation in the agency's history.

"A great story about the CIA in Afganhistan"
    Overall

A very interesting story about how the CIA, with the unexpected help of a rude, classless, power-hungry congressman ran the most successful covert operation in CIA history. Highly recommend to those interested in the CIA, and US political history in general. The speaker is very good, as is the writing.
