    A very important writer, but the book leaves a bit to be desired. I thought more about the book after I finished it, thoughts of mortality and what we are all doing about it, so in that sense perhaps it was better than I rated it.

    Barack is a very important political figure-head these days and we hope he'll become our next president. His life is interesting, but this book, narrated by Barack is somewhat dry. I compare it to Bill Clinton's book, which was a bit more interesting. Maybe it's the political nature, its content, but he might have been a bit more inspirational about his beliefs and provided less about his upbringing. Lead us! And we will follow.
