"Davenport doesn't disappoint"
I am a huge John Sanford fan and love the Lucas Davenport 'Prey' books the best having read every one. I still get excited with the newest comes out however, they are now becoming predicatable. Still a great read from a faithful fan,
"Redeemed"
Suspense, emotion, and intrigue
This is the first 'long-story' I've listened to by Lisa Gardner. My first experience was a short story which I did not like at all. I only listened to this novel because I had already purchased it. Boy, am I thankful I did. This book is filled with suspense and intrigue combined with huge doses of many emotions. I've already bought additional novels by Ms. Gardner because I enjoyed this one so much.
"Don't let the title fool you"
Very good read
I should have written a review immediately after reading this but - 8 novels later, am getting around to it. My standout memory is that I really liked the book and the many twists. It kept me engaged and I wasn't disappointed. I would listen to it again.
"Brava Trigiani ..."
I love this book and would/will listen again. I discovered Adriana Trigiani via a friend's referal and now seek her novels out. I was quickly and easily drawn into the character's emotions and lives and hated when it ended. I can't wait to read another.
Those on the rooftop
Grandma ... I loved Grandma's ability to impart wisdom and guidance without saying a word.
"Range of Emotions"
I definitely would/will listen to Still Missing again. The twists and turns and .... 'no really???' moments moved this book from another predictable suspence novel to a very good, edge of your seat, read.
Don't turn your back ....
"Good, easy read"
I've yet to be disappointed with a Coben novel and this is no different. I do prefer the Myron Bolitar books still but this one is a nice, easy read.
I wouldn't say edge of my seat, but definitely wanting more. There were times that I sat in my car to finish a scene before I could turn it off.
"Wonderful read"
I loved the book from beginning to end most especially how is told - then ... and now. I am not much of a circus person so wasn't keen on reading it. However, a friend told me is was worth the read. I strongly agree and would have been disappointed to miss out on this wonderful story had I let the 'circus' element stear me away.
Really only one main character and easy to fall in love with him.
Well worth the time to listen. Well written and narrated.
"New favorite"
The Kitchen House is a wonderful book narrated by two distinct and phenomonal characters. It was the first time in a long time that I've listened to a book and hated turing it off. A definite must read (or listen).
The view of the 'help' based on your color.
Can't tell ... don't want to spoil it for the readers. It comes at the end though when justice is served.
From beginning to end and for days afterward.
Truly a must read. From the first page to the last, the author draws you in and owns your soul.
"Average at best"
Predictable and a bit boring
Not really. I purchased another Lisa Gardner novel and, because of this one, am putting off listening to it.
