I just loved the whole book and cant wait till the next one comes out. Its something you just can stop listening to and Ray Doltice also makes it come alive.

They were all wonderful characters, but my favorite is Tyrion.

This book is my daughters favorite - she just loves the story - how it is written and the narrator...who is fantastic. Its so great to have such a classic tale. It is listened to again and again

This book, and indeed the series is by far the most favorite series I have read. Diana Gabaldin is a master at her craft. She has so much detail in the story and its truly appreciated to have the story so involved with the characters and the 'canvas of the scenery painted' so vividly. Its also very interesting to hear of the historical events that I previously had no knowledge of, and told in such a personal way that one feels they are there with them. There is humor, tradegy and romance in each page. Davina Porter is a wonderful Narrator whose use of the various accents is wonderful...and her pronunciation and the expression in her voice fantastic. I am listening to the series for the fourth time! I dont usually enjoy female Narrators...but Davina is exceptional, and I forget that there is just one person reading. The length of the story is one of the best!!
