From the author of The Power of One comes an inspiring human drama of three lives brought together and changed forever by the extraordinary events of recent history. Inspired by real events, Bryce Courtenay's new novel tells the story of three people from vastly differing backgrounds. All they have in common is a tough beginning in life.

I loved this book and throughly enjoyed listening to it. What a wonderful reader Bower is and the story is fascinating and full of information about the Korean War. This is the first book from this author that I have read and am looking forward to more. I was so sad that it had to end. I would highly recommend this book. There are so many lessons in it.

Considered by some to be the world's greatest novel, Anna Karenina contains two plots: the tragedy of Madame Karenina, in love with a man who is not her husband; and the story of Konstantine Levin, a sensitive man whose personal philosophy is Tolstoy's reason for writing about him.

    D. Littman says: "A classic, classically read"
"Nadia May is a wonderful reader!"
    Overall

I loved this book and the reader is excellent!I have been wanting to read it since Oprah recommended it but it sounded like it was a difficult book to read because of all the Russian names. I found that with Nadia reading it, it was easy to follow and very enjoyable. It is the kind of book that you could listen to several times and get something new from it each time.
