"Fantastic, must read!"
Really enjoyed this, if you like the movie, you should listen to this book to get the real story.
"Really long, but good book."
Overall a pretty good book, but could have been probably half the length. I liked it, but I think it rambled on a bit.
"The book is fantastic, but this performance is bad"
Not this version. There were so many times when you could hear whispering in the background and voice of the narrator cutting off.
The story itself, it's a classic.
See my above comments.
Wish others would read it.
"No need for the liberal political bias."
The author could have stuck to the facts and the story, instead of dedicating nearly the entire book to promoting his pro-Obama agenda.
I never write bad reviews on here, it's pretty rare, so you know it's bad.
No, other authors in this genre don't write a book in the hopes of getting their candidate elected. Most are unbiased and care about the "facts."
No, he was quiet...unless the preview shows better.
Probably 80% of it. Nearly the entire book is a "rah rah Obama!" pep rally.
I was really really disappointed as Mark Bowden's book on the Mogadishu incident was so much better. I've known that Mark Bowden is clearly a Democrat, and that's fine, but wow, this book is just sad. I can't recommend it.
"The definitive guide to terrorism in modern times."
If you are interested in Middle Eastern history as it pertains to terrorism, then this is your main read. This is the book by which all others in this genre should be compared.
"Excellent, short, and to the point."
I loved the narrator of this audio book. I highly recommend it, especially for anyone who is interested in the psychology of man.
"One of the best books on the war on terror!"
This is by far the magnum opus of terrorism history books. You can't get any more direct than from the man who ran the Counter-Terrorism Center for the CIA. Most of the books I read (or listen to) are pretty good. But this book is great, in fact, it's perfect. I was very sad to hear it end.
It's because of men like Jose Rodriguez, that I am able to sit inside the US and write this review. Thank you to such a great American hero.
In addition to this book, I highly recommend Marc Thiessen's Courting Disaster book.
"Amazing, a must read for everyone."
This is an amazing story of the most important and amazing person of our times. Whether you are interested in Apple, technology, or simply business, this is a must read.
"awesome series!"
this is by far the best fiction in Intelligence, awesome. I'd recommend starting With the first book in the series.
"Not bad, but I prefer Vince Flynn"
definitey an exciting read but a bit long. I'd recommend Vince Flynn over this author.
