    Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

    Yes....and ....No! I loved the story line....and it kept my interest.....but I got really tired of listening to the foul language and the crude sexual references...by both the men and women. The sexual theme was a bit overdone and the language was offensive and tediuos.


    What other book might you compare Carnal Innocence to and why?

    Not sure.


    Which character – as performed by Tom Stechschulte – was your favorite?

    Tucker and Caroline, were my favorite.....but Cousin Lulu was a hoot too!


    Did Carnal Innocence inspire you to do anything?

    Yes! Avoid small towns in Mississippi. Ha ha!


    Any additional comments?

    Nora Roberts could write a lot better stories ...without all the foul language and crudity....in my opinion. I like her books....but I prefer to read books that are colorful.....but less crude.

    What would have made Duma Key better?

    If King could write without adding the foul language and smutty scenes, it would be a big improvement. His favorite word is c*nt.....and a few other choice adjectives. I'm not a prude, but some things are just unnecessary to make a good story.


    Would you ever listen to anything by Stephen King again?

    No. I keep thinking the next book will be better, but I am done with his books.


    Would you be willing to try another one of John Slattery’s performances?
