"Very Flat"
The story is moving so slooowly. After 2 books I really have to throw in the towel. The story is flat and repetitive, the characters are even flatter.
"Definitely Not Hunger Games - Disappointed"
Not being a YA maybe I'm am missing something. I really wanted to like this but sadly could not. I enjoyed the Hunger Games Series but this book was noticeably deficient and lacking in so many different areas. The basic setting for the story is somewhat believable but the circumstances make no sense. Adults (what few there are) are portrayed as idiots. The story wonders around way to much and then brings everything together in the last 20 min. Characters show almost super-human skills. All this adds up to an unbelievable story. I kept listening thinking it would get better, it never did.
"Excellent Bill. An Adventure in History"
Adventure in History. The book is written more like an adventure story.
The book was not really character driven
Yes. This book is right on par with Killing Lincoln.
Yes. I had to force myself to put it down.
If you are into history, you will really enjoy this and Killing Lincoln as well. I really enjoyed Bill's narration as well.
"Relevant Content for Today"
Top 20 %
Relevant Content for Today. This story is so similar to what is going on in the middle east.
Yes. Scott Brick could read the phone book and make it interesting.

"BRING BACK BRICK!!!"
Great adventure, suspense, and mystery.
Jaun kept getting his rear-end kicked.
Characters all sounded the same.

"I Hope it gets better"
I found the story was a little long winded, and the characters were bland. I will give the next book in the series and hope it picks up a bit.
"Great Fun!!!"
This is an enjoyable romp through the old west with a Holmes feel to it. There was plenty of light humor mixed in. Not a deep thriller, just good entertainment. William Dufris was right on the money. There was some rough language, but not vulgar. Enjoyable to find a book not filled with sex, vampires, zombies, etc.
"A Bit slower than 1st one"
I don't think I will continue the series as I see that Oliver Wyman isn't narrating the rest of the series and book five has a different narrator than 3 and 4. Wyman is the only reason I gave 4 stars.
"Ex-cell-ant!!!"
5th in series. Not much I can add. Book 4 left some unresolved plots that Book 5 ties up. New alliances, new enemies and hopefully some new toys. William Dufris' narration is perfect!!! OK where's # 6?
"Great Follow-Up to the Series"
4th in series. This book was a little different than the prior three, in that unlike the first three, Book 4 leaves a lot of plots unresolved. Fear not though as Book 5 will resolve those issues, in other words treat book 4 and book 5 as one volume. William Dufris' narration is perfect for these books (though as noted elsewhere William Dufris could read the phone book and make it sound like a classic).
