    This final play from the pen of Oscar Wilde is a stylish send-up of Victorian courtship and manners, complete with assumed names, mistaken lovers, and a lost handbag.     What did you love best about The Importance of Being Earnest (Dramatized)?

    James Marsters is a uniquely talented actor in that he not only displays enviable skills among others working within the trade, he is undoubtedly extremely intelligent, insightful, thoughtful and willing to invest the efforts to "undress" the authors he represents. He not only presents a commendable performance of the obvious intent, meaning, etc, he is one of few actors who possess the ability to see the influences, subtle meanings and even unintended revelations of an author's work. His insight seems to give him access to intent even the authors themselves didn't consciously acknowledge.

    How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Where to start? Disallowing the fact that these stories are trite, mediocre at best attempts at erotic writing, the narrative alone is likely to act as a nice cold shower for even the most sexually-frustrated! Imagine erotica read by a 50+ year old virgin or worse, frigid b-tch hell-bent on making sure nobody in their realm of influence experiences a satisfying sex-life.


    What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Amazed look of "really?" Who, if anyone, had creative responsibility over this project? They still have a job? Wow!
