This book just dragged on and on. I thought it would pick up but it didn't . i would not recommend this book
I loved this book just like I loved the 2 others in the triolgy. The plot was not at all as I thought it would have been but it was a great book! I will miss Katniss, Peta and Gayle. It's always sad when a story is over.
The story line was good. I enjoyed the book but the main characters kept jumping back and forth with partners, just when i thought cheyenne and Todd were going to make it BOOM...another change...The narrator was TERRIBLE the recording was really bad. If it weren't for that I would have really enjoyed this book. The narrator didn't speak english very well , it almost bordered on ebonics, it was not good.
It would be a good thing for the author to pay for a PROFESSIONAL recording with a PROFESSIONAL narrator.
I really enjoyed this book. Mary is a good narrator and her story is worth listening to. It was sad at times, but a very good book.
I loved this book and the narrator was great! The author is new to me and her sarcasm had me in stitches! I too have found a new favorite author!
I have listened to this book several times. I have the DVD and my son boght the daily teachings book for my desk at work for Christmas. It motivated me to put together a "vision board" for 2009 and has inspired me to think in a positive light and leave the negativity behind. I would recommend this book.
I enjoyed this book, the description of the "Trinity" was very interesting and made me laugh. I felt for this family and the absolute tragedy they experienced. I was glad to see the main character get peace of mind in the end.
I really could not stop listening. This book kept me engaged the entire time. I was very surprised at the ending, but I really enjoyed the characters in that little southern town in Missouri...they are all pretty dysfunctional!
I am struggling with this book even now. It is very difficult to follow and separation between chapters is non existant. Disappointed but I will listen to it again after reading some of the other reviews.
Athough this is definitely different from what Grisham is known for, it was a fun, lighthearted book. I enjoyed it. I laughed out loud a few times and as a parent of children leaving the nest I really could associate with what happened in the end.
