Now in Vampire Moon, sequel to Moon Dance, private investigator Samantha Moon finds herself hunting down a powerful crime lord and protecting an innocent woman from her ruthless ex-husband—all while two very different men vie for her heart. And as the stakes grow higher and her cases turn personal, Samantha Moon will do whatever it takes to protect the innocent and bring two cold-blooded killers to justice—her own brand of justice.

Would you try another book from J. R. Rain and/or Dina Pearlman?

This series is good. I read the first one and listened to the second one. I am looking forward to the third one. It is a dark series. Makes you think.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Samantha-The main character. What she struggles with.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Dina Pearlman?

I enjoyed her as a narrator. Very clear and concise

Do you think Vampire Moon needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There is a new book in her series. I hope there is more after the third.

In the wild, when a wolf knows its time is over, when it knows it is of no more use to its pack, it may sometimes choose to slip away. Dying apart from its family, it stays proud and true to its nature. Humans aren’t so lucky. Luke Warren has spent his life researching wolves. He has written about them, studied their habits intensively, and even lived with them for extended periods of time.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. This is my first audio book so I chose my favorite author. I didn't think I could follow by just listening but it just like being at the movies. I could picture everything going on.

Who was your favorite character and why?

No one favorite character. They all play an integral part--just like all of Jodi Picoults books. Edward coming home dealing with his hatred of his father. Cara at 17 having to grow up to make choices no 17 year old should have to make. Luke the father--the lone wolf.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The narration was very clear and concise. It was not monotone.

If you could rename Lone Wolf, what would you call it?

Lone Wolf is a good title. I like the comparison between the wolf pack and the family pack.

    Any additional comments?

I was glad I chose this audio to book to be my first to listen to. I will be getting more.
