I don't know who would enjoy this book after the first one. It was a fairly miserable sequel.
The performance wasn't that bad, the story was the problem.
Not really. Too silly on an ending, the characters got weak.
I wish I'd liked it.
I thought that this was very well written. It kept me fully engaged. Great story and really good characters.
I enjoyed this book overall. It was slow in some parts, a lot of detail but it was a good story. Very sad that it happened.
I really enjoyed this book. It drew me in early. Excellent story and great narration.
I had a hard time at first with the accent but that is definitely my fault. The storyline was okay, it did drag on a little. Not sure that I would recommend it to anyone but it wasn't a horrible book.
I was not impressed. Hours upon hours of listening to orioles poor decisions and complaints about problems that they brought on themselves. The characters weren't likeable. The plot was weak. Overall very boring.
I always feel like such a jerk giving a horrible review. The author put a lot of time and effort into the book as did the narrator. That being said, I am livid that I spent time listening to this book. It has to be one of the most horrible books ever written. The story was extremely predictable. The main character was devastatingly stupid, written as though she was a man's caricature of a woman. There was nothing that grabbed my attention. It was slow, dull and miserable.
I liked the performance the best. The narrator was absolutely amazing.
I don't really know. It was something of a thriller, a little predictable but still a really good story. Funny in places, touching in others.
Yes. It was really engaging and because of the narrator I felt like I was listening to a movie. Very good job.
Made me think.
The button boy story was absolutely phenomenal. A great story in an excellent story. I really enjoyed the whole book, some stories more than others but that one was my absolute favorite.
The narrator sounded like he had a cold or something. He had a bit of a whiny voice in some parts.
I would highly recommend this book. I liked the way that each story was so very different than the one before it. It was a truly good read.
This book is for perhaps middle school children who blame their parents for their mistakes. It was a pretty bad read. The story line was extremely predictable. Anyone who is surprised by any of the “twists” in this book has probably not finished elementary school as of yet. For anyone who is of an age that has two numbers in it this was a total snooze fest. For any working mothers do not, I repeat, do NOT get this book. It will piss you off to no end. The only thing that I got out of this book is that Kimberly McCreight thinks that working mothers are the scum of the earth who don’t properly care for their children.
Not really. I wish I'd read it insted of listening to it. The narrators were horrible. The voices were annoying and the back and forth when different people were talking was tedious.
Donald was bland and blah. There was also a weird clicking noise going on there.
No. I'm so over it.
Who compared this to Gone Girl and were they smoking crack when they did it?
