I don't regret reading (listening) to this story. It was interesting to go in an entirely different direction than many other Star Wars Novels. I didn't really get that this was a Zombie Apocalypse story until I reached that point in the story... I had to pause for a moment, "Really? A Zombie Star Wars Novel?"... Then resigned myself to take it for what it's worth.
I again had to stop and wonder how the blatant use of the line from the movie "Taken" was allowed to remain in the final edit... and worse that the threat made doesn't really materialize in the story.
The reader, Jon Glover, takes some getting used to. He enunciates very carefully, and in his own particular style. It really started to grow on me after a while. Marc Thompson is my favorite Star Wars Narrator, but I think Glover was a good pick for this particular story.
In conclusion, this is a fun departure from your usual Star Wars Novel, the production helps to boost the enjoyment level, but there several other books in my Wish List that I wish I had purchased before this one.
