Love the story and the narration! The narrator brings the characters to life with his mastery of accents. Mark Twain is a master story-teller.
I can't say I liked this book, but I had a hard time putting it down when I started it. The story line left me disturbed and strangely compelled to keep listening.
The reading of the books are horrible and does nothing to cover up the shallow plot lines. Should stick with what works - TV shows. Books is not Dr. Who's strong point.
I've listened to many audio books and I have to say that I'm not impressed with this narrator. Much of the time I feel like she's yelling and she reads with too much over-dramatization. My suggestion - just read the book.
The stories are fun except for the way they are narrated. The narrator sounds as if she is giving a news report.
