I liked the story, but I almost got sick a few times from the descriptions... evidently, the author is very good at making the reader visualize with his descriptions.
This should be in a category titled "Violent Pornography". Romance isn't vulgar, graphic, rough sex scenes. The theme seemed to be "I'm raping you because you like it, even if you are screaming and calling me obscene names." I could be wrong because I have never studied wolves, but I'm pretty sure that they don't repeatedly bite and scratch up their mates.
I will not purchase books by this author in future.
No. The story was kind of disjointed with pieces that didn't even seem to be part of the story.
Other Malory series novels by the same author.
The voices the narator uses for the male characters, especially Anthony, grates on me... he sounds like a pirate. I also do not care for her 'chuckles' or laughter.
One of my friends, who does not consider herself a reader, bought this book after watching the movie. She got hooked immediately and is now on the 4th book of the series.
I am hooked on the Harmony series by Jayne Castle. I love the dust bunnies! A nice romance on a fantasy planet.
I loved the book. Imaginative and easy to follow. I am buying the sequels.
I loved the book and considered listening to more by this author...the only problem I had was with how long it is.
The saga continues with Max and the flock dealing with more environmental issues. Entertaining and fun.
Another episode in Max's life...another adventure. Cute, easy to follow. And informative about environmental issues.
