All of the characters were entertaining and enchanting. Some of them didn't start that way. I love quilting and stories of the Amish, so that was intriguing as well.
The best part was how the class and the instructors lives unfolded and problems were overcome. There were also several unpredictable moments.
Emma was probably my favorite character being narrated. I could picture her quite clearly.
Yes, but it usually takes me a few days.
Mrs. Brunstteter's books are always enjoyable and I listen to all I can find. I do hope there's more in this series. Ms. Ertl did an excellent job reading the story. She's quite natural and does an excellent job with all of the characters. I look forward to listening to more narrations by her as well.
Yes. Even through the trials the story was uplifting.
Everything. She kept the story interesting. I could clearly understand every word. Wonderful inflection and clarity.
Both actually. I always get involved with my characters.
This was a wonderful series. Not only was it the story of each of 3 siblings, but about other family members. I always love Amish stories, my favorite kind of fiction.
Yes I will listen to this book again.
I loved all of MK's drama.
This is one of my favorite authors. The narrator did an excellent job. This has been a great series!
Yes. It was an uplifting story. The characters were endearing.
I loved meeting the members of the original congregation, especially Abby and Samuel. I can totally relate to them.
An added dimension. She brought the characters even more to life.
Samuel and Abby as faithful, mature believers.
This book reflects what is unfortunately happening in many of our churches and to many older members of the body of Christ. It seems to me like our churches aren't focused on the Bible nor Christ, but rather things of importance to man.
The entire story was excellent!
Rose because she was so loving and kind.
It would be hard to choose one. She did an outstanding performance of them all.
This is a book I will listen to again. I'm looking forward to the entire series and hope the same narrator reads.
Mark Royce, his friends and their spirituality.
The setting was intriguing as was all the action. The intermingling of cultures fascinated me as well.
This was my first and he did an excellent job. The accents of the different characters was magnificent.
I look forward to more by this author and narrator.
Hearing Christ work in the lives of all the characters.
During the storm. How it effected everyone and how they dealt with the aftermath. It was quite intense for a while!
I thought she did an excellent job with all the characters.
The prayers prayed by the characters were among the best I've heard in fiction. It was an excellent conclusion to this series. I look forward to more by this author and narrator.
Dee Henderson is one of my all time favorite authors. She's one I follow faithfully. The narration was magnificent!
Joe and Kelly. I loved their relationship with God as well as their love for one another. They were both tenacious, yet tender.
He has a rich voice. Quite easy and enjoyable listening.
This an excellent series. I've read this book several times and never tire of it. The narration added even more depth to the story.
I enjoy the audio much more than the print as it adds extra depth to the story.
The narrator did an excellent job reading and voicing the characters. My favorite character she voiced was Ida Mae.
This was easy to listen and follow. The narrator did an excellent job with the Amish accents.
I'm looking forward to hearing many more books narrated by this artist.
