I am not a "romance" fan, I do enjoy fantasy though so I thought this book may be an OK one. for me it was far to "X" rated when it could have easily been "R" but that is my opinion about all romances so I did not hold it against the book. Personally I think there was to much description here (in the sex arena) and not enough elsewhere (in all other arenas).

I liked the characters and the interaction with them was good at times and predictable more.

the Premise for the story is WONDERFUL... I think it held sooooo much promise... I do not think the promise got delivered at least not in full... I really enjoy getting lost in a story... this one doesn't give you time... the writer goes from 0 to 60 in no time flat... it didn't give me any time to enjoy the ride..."easing" into something is apparently not this writers style... it is to much like "DAMN THE TORPEDOES---" you know the rest... just zip here zip there...

the last 5-10 chapters I knew exactly what was going to happen.. and it did... The story line was really promising... but I just don't think it delivered what it promised!

The reader was good, not the best but certainly not the worst I have ever heard... but for this story you needed to have 2 readers, a man and a woman... the girl trying to do this particular male... really didn't get it for me... and I do not believe any woman could have. This man's voice should be a very deep baritone... just for what and who he is. (of course that is not the writers fault... )

All in All... a FANTASTIC idea... Unrealized for me... a GREAT story line... that never really gets found all the way.... FAST AND FURIOUS ... when it should have stopped and smelled the roses a little bit.

You just can't complain about her books... I love the reader and the story is always ALWAYS entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think George kinda gave up... he is making money elsewhere and he deserted this story... I am not sure I even care when the next book comes out!!

It seems to be a decent story... the reader is not the best and that always makes it hard to get thru a book... The story has many twists and turns and not all of them come clear (at least to me)... very interesting take on cards and I would never have thought of it.. so very interesting wish the reader was better... decent book

I am not into romance novels at all, and so with this book I had a few eye rolls and hurumphs but all in all the story is solid, I like the premise and yes at times it goes a bit to slow and at other times zooms forward. I am not into the whole vampire craze but in this particular book it works... at least in my opinion. The romance wasn't really over the top, but I hate when writers make woman out to be devoted dogs and there were at least 2 spots that my eye rolls were because of that...
All in all I liked it and will listen to the next installment... so if the writer is reading this... GET BUSY MISSY!!! (I'm pretty old so I say that confidently...LOL)

I had never heard of this trilogy, but I like it so far. The reader is really bad. Her inflection is enough to drive you batty, but the book itself is REALLY GOOD.
I hope that they put the rest of these books on audible ... WITH A DIFFERENT READER!!!!!!!

EXTREMELY 'good' book does not come close to HOW 'good' this book is...great doesn't work either, so, suffice it to say...Its IS worth your time!!!!!

The Reader is Fantastic and the story leaves you wanting MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!
