It’s amateur hour at the White House. So says New York Times best-selling author Edward Klein in his political exposé The Amateur. Tapping into the public’s growing sentiment that President Obama is in over his head, The Amateur argues that Obama’s toxic combination of incompetence and arrogance has run our nation and his presidency off the rails.

Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies—and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. He spent years skipping through cyberspace, always three steps ahead and labeled unstoppable.

Where does Ask and It Is Given, Volume 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Good material available for years from others. The deceptive and unannounced requirement to buy a 2nd book surfacing abruptly at the end is a real disappointment - and crosses the line on ethics. I don't buy Ms Hick's channeling. Still a good message if not already made aware via Unity Church of Independence Mo., far East spiritual teachings, and many others. There is nothing new here, but is likely unfamiliar to many N. Americans.

Suggest buy Vol 2 first as the 15 minute summary at the beginning will accomplish two items: 1) Introduce Vol 2, and 2) confirm if you want to buy Vol 1.

I will ask for my money back as a Premium account holder for both books. Amazon can't afford to allow such practices.

Would you recommend Ask and It Is Given, Volume 1 to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, but beware as indicated above.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Mr. Hicks speaks clearly, but does not have a warm presence as is needed for this message. If you like reading to be clear and fast, you will approve of Hick's narration.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

No limit to what we can do, have, and become.

    Any additional comments?

Why would such obviously intelligent people trap us at the end of the first book and require the purchase of a 2nd book to get the program?
