Tucker McCade has known violence his whole life: orphaned in a massacre, abused as a "half-breed" child, trained as a ruthless Texas Ranger, he's learned the hard way that might makes right. So even he is shocked when he falls for Sally Mae, a Quaker nurse. Unable to resist Tucker's charm, character and chiseled body, she throws herself into their torrid affair, indulging every one of her wildest sexual fantasies.

Would you listen to Tucker's Claim again? Why?

It just doesn't work for a woman to narrate a book with tough men in it like this series. It makes them sound creepy instead of masculine. That being said..the book was very good. Loved the story and would recommend it.

I couldn't even get through the first hour of this book unfortunately....only because of the narrator. She was horrible....went so fast and with no expression in her voice that I couldn't even follow what she was saying. I had no idea what was going on in the story so I turned it off and bought a different book. Too bad.......Somebody...please Somebody...listen to these narrators and determine if they are worth the money of an audiobook!!! Bad Bad Bad.

Fleeing with only her bow, horse, enormous pet wolf, and the cryptic clues hidden in her mother's medicine journal, healer Meg Boswell gallops north towards freedom, running from the man who falsely accused her mother of witchcraft. Cursed with magical healing abilities, Meg knows that if she's captured, she will die like her mother-atop a blazing witch's pyre.

This narrator was so annoying...she whispered the entire book!!! The scottish accents were pitiful and the male voices sounded like 6 year old children. Come on....these were highland warriors...that is until they spoke!! Awful...just awful. Men should narrate Highlander voices and stories!! It is a shame...

It might be just me but, I started this book over twice trying to figure out who was who. There were too many characters all at once, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, chaperones, etc. I never got to figure out who the main two characters were until well into the book. For me the characters were just not likeable. That could have been the narrator's fault. Sorry...and I was really looking forward to a new Scottish series. :(

Callie Colter once chased sunsets all over the world. Until Max. Together they were a perfect storm of desire, and she reveled in the beautiful burn. Then he disappeared, and the betrayal drove her home to lick her wounds. Who knew he’d have the gall to show his face in her brother’s bar. Max Wilder figures he deserves Callie’s right hook to the jaw, but it changes nothing. He had his reasons for pursuing her across Europe, for making her fall in love with him. But when she took everything he gave and offered more, she changed all the rules. He had no choice in leaving her, but now he’s back.

Maya has done it again and again and again... Maya Banks can't write these books fast enough for me!! I love the characters and the dialogue is just as if I am part of the conversation....very real-life! Last but, by no means least, THANK YOU ...THANK YOU...THANK YOU for having a male narrator. I cannot listen to another audiobook with a female voice trying to do men's voices who are supposed to be burly and masculine!! They always sound like drag queens to me...I just can't get involved in the story like that. Thank you Maya...KEEP WRITING THESE BOOKS AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

When history professor Alison Carter became a consultant to the film version of the Wild West legend she’d dedicated her career to researching, she couldn’t possibly have known that she would not only get a front-row seat to a full-blown Hollywood circus but would innocently witness something that would put her life in peril. Nor did she expect that a tall stranger in a cowboy hat would turn the movie — and her world — completely upside down.

No one writes a romance novel like Maya Banks...just the right amount of romance, love, tense moments and steam. Love the characters she creates. LOVE THE FACT THAT A MAN DOES THE NARRATION. A woman just cannot do a man's voice...a man who is supposed to be masculine and passionate. When a woman does the voices...they sound like something from the Wizard of Oz. Thank you Maya...and please we need more of your books in audio....FAST!!!!!
