In a voice as rich as it is recognized, James Earl Jones lends his narrative talents to the King James Version of the New Testament. In over 19 hours enhanced with a complete musical score, James Earl Jones interprets the most enduring book of our time utilizing the acclaimed actor's superb storytelling and skilled characterizations. Hailed as the greatest spoken-word Bible version ever, and with almost half a million copies sold, this exquisite audio treasury is certain to enthuse and inspire.

"James Earl Jones Reads The Bible (unabridged)"
    Overall

What a shame to destroy such a beautiful voice with background music that sounds like someone is playing the radio in a garage and drowns Mr. Jones out. Hopefully the publishers will edit out the music, or at least not waste the talent of such a great preformer.

A passionate polemic in favor of pausing to think, not blink. What do these scenarios have in common: a professional tennis player returning a serve, a woman evaluating a first date across the table, a naval officer assessing a threat to his ship, and a comedian about to reveal a punch line? In this counterintuitive and insightful work, author Frank Partnoy weaves together findings from hundreds of scientific studies and interviews with wide-ranging experts to craft a picture of effective decision making that runs contrary to our brutally fast-paced world.

This books goes against so much conventional wisdom, that you may be tempted to just throw it down. But it makes good sense. This author dispels myths that have held back many children and others. Listen to it, see or hear if it changes your POV.

Does the chance of getting caught affect how likely we are to cheat? How do companies pave the way for dishonesty? Does collaboration make us more honest or less so? Does religion improve our honesty? Most of us think of ourselves as honest, but, in fact, we all cheat. From Washington to Wall Street, the classroom to the workplace, unethical behavior is everywhere. None of us is immune whether it's the white lie to head off trouble or padding our expense reports.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Honest Truth About Dishonesty to be better than the print version?

Dan is great on Video, audio, and in print. His review of others research and his own is painlessly informative. The enhancement of the audio version at the end with Dan doing interviews with the other researchers he wrote about is the best reason to have the audio version.

This is a book, I listen to over and over again in the car. After awhile this really becomes a crucial aid in losing weight. The only negitive comment about this tape is the author's voice. But get past that and the content is well worth it.
