Kind of in the middle, I like these stories, but they are all very similiar
Sure, I love the Highland accent!
Yes, he is the main reason I listen, love his voice and accent
I love this series, cleverly written and enjoyable.
Fast moving, funny characters.
Well, she is the only problem with this series, I really do not care for her presentation, too stilted.
No, just an easy listen
Wish this author would try a new narrator.
I love the complex way Deborah Crombie weaves a story and the interesting pieces of life she chooses to present to you.
Any of Deborah Crombie's books share this same gift for story telling and suspense, I would recommend any of her books..
Excellent narrative, very easy to listen to and great delivery.
Not sure, but something about music, that was a very interesting twist to this story
I wanted more of the story, more character development. She didn't go very deep into any of them really, story was a bit predictable.
Not sure, I wanted to know more about the characters. It was an interesting perspective of the time, also the excess of wealthy Americans during this time and the struggle of the British aristocracy.
She did great transitions from American to English accents, something that usually slips in books like this.
It was an interesting story of the time period, always makes me glad to be a woman now, not then!
Would read more from this author.
Yes, if my friend enjoys a good British mystery, I would recommend it. It was very entertaining, well written.
When the killer was revealed, it was a surprise, I had picked someone else!
She is an excellent narrator, always enjoy her work.
Families: Everybody has them!
Best series ever!
The excellent quality of the writing, the intriquing story line and the excellent research that goes into each of these novels.
No doubt, Ian Ruthledge
No, they just always keep me hanging on and aborbed until the last minute
Keep them coming!!!
Yes, if they like this genre, it was interesting and historical.
Writing was well done, but the narrator's voice was a tad annoying at times.
Not sure, she just got a bit overdone and sugary at times, rise and fall of her voice was odd and she seemed to struggle with the American accent.
Clearer storytelling, I found the whole thing a bit fuzzy, wasn't really sure where the author was going with characters or storyline
Developed her plot better, this story really jumped around, not much character development
Nothing stands out, it was all a bit farfetched
Nope, this was not a very entertaining read
Stephanie and her relationships, always a funny experience!
While all of the Stephanie books are similiar, they are just different enough to keep them interesting and entertaining.
Well, she IS Stephanie and Lula, and all the rest, she does a great job.
Ranger, who else would it be?
DId not read the print version, but I love to listen and to read Charles Todd novels.
A lot like the Bess Crawford series, Bess was even in this book. A little too much like Bess Crawford actually.
That beautiful Scottish accent!
Hmmm, I always listen in my car, so that's hard to say.
Keep them coming, Charles Todd!!!
