FBI Special agent Brad Raines is facing his toughest case yet. A Denver serial killer has killed four beautiful young women, leaving a bridal veil at each crime scene, and he's picking up his pace. Unable to crack the case, Raines appeals for help from a most unusual source: residents of the Center for Wellbeing and Intelligence, a private psychiatric institution for mentally ill individuals whose are extraordinarily gifted.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I must admit that this started out a bit slow but got very exciting. The characters are great.

Have you listened to any of John Glover’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't but I wasn't thrilled with his performance. It took a bit to get accustomed to his style.

Great book. I don't think any "top secrets" were revealed. Action-packed but you could still feel the camaraderie. These guys are bad a** and I'm thankful for a TRUE account of what happened.

Thousands of autonomous computer programs, or daemons, make our networked world possible, running constantly in the background of our lives, trafficking e-mail, transferring money, and monitoring power grids. For the most part, daemons are benign, but the same can't always be said for the people who design them.

I was afraid that this one might be too "techy" for me and though a few parts got a bit involved, it was pretty easy to follow. Pretty darn believable and you never knew what was going to happen next. It was intense and chilling.

When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

I'm not traditionally a "zombie" follower but as other reviewers have indicated this was more of a biological weapon story than a zombie land horror novel. If you like detective/FBI/military suspense novels then this is probably for you. I enjoyed the main character's sarcasm the most.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What made the experience of listening to The Hunger Games the most enjoyable?

This story is such a fresh new perspective on how the future could be. The characters are all interesting and the book just flew by. I'm now on the third book and love the series.
