I love comic mysteries. This narrator was really able to bring out the comic elements and still make the characters real.
I really enjoy series. I liked the fact that this was the start of a comic mystery series.
The beginning of the book when the MC when fighting for his life on the bridge. It was funny and scary at the same time.
How Kit and JX restarted
I always like anything Josh Lanyon does, but this narrator really brought out the best in this book and made me laugh throughout the whole thing which I did not do when I read it. I smiled a lot but did not laugh out loud like I did with this narrator.
This book is the second in Victor Banis' Deadly series and it is one of my favorites of his. It makes up for the ending on Deadly Nightshade and continues the series. I don't do spoilers but it is fun and Stanley is a hoot in it. Also, this vocal performance is much more in line with the characters. While I love the book Deadly Nightshade I did not particularly like the narrator. This really enjoyed this narrator and would highly recommend the book.
I truly enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed this book. It will be one of my re-reads/relistens.
I always enjoy books that shows how folks learn to communicate with each other.
You really felt what the characters were feeling. He did a great job.
I liked both MC's, they were both struggling with growing up and loving.
I really enjoy all of Amy Lane's books.
I didn't read the print version. However, I .love audio books so I would probably like the audio book better.
It is a paranormal book. I haven't read another book like this. I liked the character Kiernan a lot. Matt the cop seemed very angry and needed to be handled so carefully!
I really enjoyed the paranormal aspect and it was believable.
I thought the narrator did a good job.
It is a friend love story, which I like a lot.
Getting to know the characters and how they interacted.
Since there were only two characters that the story was about, they moved me.
It is interesting how the author presented the the choices each guy made.
Yes, Amy Lane writes wonderful stories
Not really, it was really fun and different.
The scenes with the frogs.
No, I like unabridged and I am willing to listen to the whole story.
I really enjoyed this story.
Yes, I love Victor J. Banis' Deadly Series. I hope all of the Deadly books will be in audio eventually.
The moments with when Stanley realizes how beautiful Tom was and how misguided his affections are. The mystery itself is really fun. This is for adults.
He reads the book, does not really get into the characters but the reading is good and the story is clear.
Stanley, he is a hoot. Fun and tough at the same time. You don't really think about how tough gay men are until you read something like this.
I hope the rest of this series is done in audio.
Wonderful, scary and difficult.
When Zach realizes that he can be as strong as he needs to be.
At the very beginning.
I don't do spoilers.
I should state here, that I am not usually into fantasy and other worlds. What I liked best about this story was the fact that it was a mystery within the fantasy and I could follow both the story in the fantasy world and the mystery.
Colin Bliss because he was the hero of the story and Septimous Marx the love interest. Both are interesting characters and fun to read about.
As I have said, I am really not that into fantasy, but Max Miller's rendition of the story was wonderful. His words flowed so well and I felt he knew the characters and represented them very well. When I first read the book, I got a little lost in all of the "other world" stuff. Max Miller makes it real. You feel you are in the world with Colin and Marx.
Fantasy, gay mystery.
I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation and hope to listen to more of Max Miller and Josh Lanyon presentations.
Wild, Wonderful ride into hell and back.
Michael Munroe, I have a soft-spot for female thugs! Love them.
I enjoyed them all. Hillary Huber is one of the best audiobook performers that I have listened to. I think she made the book so real for me.
It made me do both, but overall it is about survival and justice. I also loved the descriptions of Africa. I have not really known anything about it.
It is a book you think about long after you are through reading it.
