"Great story and sound effects"
I'm a Star Wars fan and I liked the story. At first keeping up with the characters is difficult due to their unfamiliar names and races, but once you understand who's who, the story evolves well. For a Star Wars novel, it is a good book.
"Excellent reading!"
This audiobook ranks among my top 3 reads.
It is not easy to compare because it has many funny moments, and a lot of technical data.
When Watney answered back to NASA about his condition in Mars.
Yes.
Excellent read! at first there's too much technical stuff so one has to be patient because later the book flows nicely with plenty of funny moments and interesting physics data. I've enjoyed it very much.
"Excellent reading."
At first it seemed like a very predictible book with situations hard to believe, but the main character quickly wraps you and the story develops smoothly. In general a great story with an excellent balance of suspense and light reading.
Excellent performance, when listening to her, my mind was placed right with the characters and the story.
"Not much action"
I'm used to more intrigue and suspense, this book does not have any of that. Too much description of history and characters, and very little action.
"Excellent book!"
It is the second part of his book Secret of the Seventh Son and I loved both. Book of Souls at the end the story sort of looses grip, but overall it is a great read.
"Entertaining"
The plot is simple and entertaining but sometimes the author makes it difficult to follow by sudden jumps from past to present. For this type of novel, some situations are hard to believe as plausible, but is good reading. The narration by Mr. Shea was excellent.
