When a commercial airliner is blown out of the sky off the East Coast, the CIA scrambles to find the perpetrators. A body is discovered near the crash site with three bullets to the face: the calling card of a shadowy international assassin.

I wait for Silva's books with anticipation but I will think 5 times over before purchasing another of his books. I kept listening and listening waiting for something to happen. There was only description after description, hardly any story whatsoever. When it finally did get going (over half way through) the good part lasted for about 2 chapters and was then over. I have seldom been so bored. I'm so sad to write this.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

I kept reading and reading waiting for something to happen - It did about 2/3 through. Then the author should have ended the book - it just rambled and rambled after that.
