Who are you? What have we done to each other? What will we do? Just how well can you ever know the person you love? These are the questions that Nick Dunne must ask himself on the morning of his fifth wedding anniversary, when his wife Amy suddenly disappears. The police immediately suspect Nick. Amy's friends reveal that she was afraid of him, that she kept secrets from him. He swears it isn't true. A police examination of his computer shows strange searches. He says they aren't his. And then there are the persistent calls on his mobile phone.

What did you like best about Gone Girl? What did you like least?

I loved the twists and turns in the story line!
I did not love the loooong pauses between lines?

Would you recommend Gone Girl to your friends? Why or why not?

    Maybe...not too sure?

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I liked Kirby's performance, but I found Julia's to be too drawn out for some reason and she did not connect with the character for me?

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes...until I got to the end, but now that I know the ending I don't think I would!

In 1886, a mysterious travelling circus becomes an international sensation. Open only at night, constructed entirely in black and white, Le Cirque des Rêves delights all who wander its circular paths and warm themselves at its bonfire. Although there are acrobats, fortune-tellers and contortionists, the Circus of Dreams is no conventional spectacle. Some tents contain clouds, some ice.

    F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby. There, he has a firsthand view of Gatsby’s lavish West Egg parties - and of his undying love....

Jorge Curiel Lopez says: "Nice voice, terrible voice acting."

    Excellent Descriptive Writing

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mr J Gatsby was by far my favorite! He came from such a poor family and transformed himself into this great man all for the love of one woman! WOW!

What does Jake Gyllenhaal bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Jake brings his own style to the book with his different "voices" and the way he reads is enchanting!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sort of...the ending is very shocking and the way it unfolds kind of takes you by surprise.
