"red gold"
pretty good, was slow at times, narrator great, not sure of ending though, may try another of this author
"more muskateers than mask"
this was not a book about the man in the iron mask. it was 21 hours plus about the four muskateers the iron mask took up about one hour. If i had read the reviews first I would have known However I was going on the assumption from the movie adaptions that this would be about that story. if you are looking for an book about the iron mask this is not it. this is just more muskateers and their story. not a bad book but not what I was looking for and paid for and spent all that time listening to and waiting for me mask which never came.
"the first in a serires cant wait to read the other"
overall the story is great. I had read another and decided I needed to start from the beginning and I did. all should start with this one to get her background, and this first case is very interesting and intriguing. Good historical background information on WWI.
"great as always"
cannot wait for #11 from james patterson and lindsey and her womens murder club also more about joe
"looking forward to next in series"
great book and interesting plot; will read next in series to follow liam and his exploits
"don't miss this one"
this is a great story that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in stories not told or forgotten about wwII.
definitely
"another great from louise penny;"
the narrator was terrific and the story keeps you wanting more; which I will certainly continue with inspector gamache in the next book
"wonderful insight in to germany in the 30's"
I learned a great deal especially since i never knew about dodd. it was eye opening to read about the politics of the time and how it affected our pre war attitudes and responses and actions. a sad insight into america and it views when we should have been doing more.
"another great from tom rob smith"
the suspense never lets up, cannot wait to read the next installment. the narrator is terrific. I recommend to whomever likes a thriller taking place in a country other than england or usa. tom rob smith is terrific.
"ok"
interesting but after about 8 hours I was getting bored and frustrated with all the names I could not keep track of. I quit at 3/4 of the way through thinking that I know he was a womanizer and had lots of mistresses but what more can this book tell me. not much.
"The forgotten 500"
no, the narrator is terrible. first he reads as if he is talking to children. his accents for the main foreign characters like churchill and miahilovich are awful. He should stick to his normal voice. it really detracts especially for the yugoslavs starts with regular, then tries a yugoslav which ends up sounding like someone from brooklyn!

read it from the printed text or find another narrated book.
