"9 1/2 weeks On crack!!"
The only reason I picked up this book is because my friends and I were thinking of starting a book club and one of my friends recommended it to me. So I waited to get my credit from Audible and bought the book. I must say this book opens your eyes to the smut that kinky people like. Ok let me sum up this book short but sweet. Have you ever seen the movie 9 and half weeks? Well the plot line is very similar if not identical. Boy meet girl, girl likes boy and extra curicular activities (a lot) and , girl finds out that boy is (very) kinky, thus girl leaves boy because he emotionally can not give her what she wants and she is not willing to give him what he needs...lol. That's it right there. I just saved you 19 hours of your life you would have needed to listen this book. BUT if you like smut you should definatly read this book. Maybe this book could teach you a new move or two you could try out on your partner...I guess that's worth my 15 dollars (1 credit), right?...lol.
"Bridges the Law of attraction and Christianity"
I really loved this book! I think it's a bit controversial because anything that has to do with religion generally is. I wouldn’t say it's all about religion but it quotes the bible more than a few times so you should definitely know that before purchasing it. For me it bridged the gap I had from completely "buying" the law of attraction. I have read the secret and several other books about the law of attraction but I just didn't buy it. I didn't think it could be as simple as thinking it, visualizing it and it will happen. This book put it in a different perspective for me. I love that he works in a lot of real stories that happened to people he knows. For me, those stories really helped. The most important thing that helped me was that at some point in the book he also addresses the fact that as Christians we sometimes are taught that it's bad so be rich or that it's evil to want for money so we might have conflicts between what we want and what we are "supposed" to want. For example, if you are jealous of someone that has more money than you, you might criticize them for having money but really you want it for yourself. He says those are conflicting thoughts because you are criticizing what you want. Those thoughts are just the reason why you don't have it in the first place. Because on one hand you want it but in essence you are also saying you don't because you are putting that same thing down when you criticize it. According to him you have to get everything in line, your believes, your thoughts, your actions, and your expectancy that what you want, you will one day get. Oh and something else that is important, you also have to give up the how. He says to just believe you will receive it but leave the HOW it will happen up to your subconscious mind to get it for you. You should definitely pick this book up if you feel like the law of attraction doesn't have enough substance this might just do the trick to help you as it helped me.
"Wow, listen to this book!"
I'm not even quite sure how I picked this book to spend my credit on but I'm so glad it turned out to be an awesome find! It gives you the medical reasons why our body language can say more than the words that we say -plus examples that happened through out his career while he was an FBI agent . While listening to this book I became a people watcher and have observed some of the examples he talks about in the book so now I can't help feeling like this book has given me tools to decode what people are saying without saying it. Delivers its promise! Great use of credit.
"Awesome advise"
Great book! He gives you clear instructions on how to get out of debt. Good motivation for people who don't know where to start. Well worth the credit!
"Read the book instead"
This audio is too short to even try to begin doing the original printed book justice. Spend your credit on another audio book.
"Was all over the place"
Normally I'm a fan of Ellen but I just didn't get it. I tried listening all the way through but I fell asleep like three time, so I never got through it... Don't waist your credit on this book!
"Eye Opener!"
Great book, gives you all the steps you need to walk away from your 9-5 and start living the way you really want. Recommend it to anyone that has ever wanted to live in another country or to travel the world.
