This book invokes so many different emotions. I makes you wonder how much of it is fiction because the narrators did such a wonderful job at reading the story that one would think that they were telling their own life stories. I love this book and I recommend it.
As soon as I saw this book on the home page, I know that I would end up listening to it! I could not stop seconding guessing myself. First of all, the idea of bedbugs only makes my skin itch. Now, take a new apartment add in a nice landlord (which is creepy by its self; but in Brooklyn?), and sprinkle a whole lot of blood-sucking bugs. This book freaked me out and some parts were out right disgusting. But that is what scary movies are made of.
I saw a review that said it only took the reader three days to read this book and I thought that was impossible for a person like me, with a full time job and full time college courses to complete; however, I was wrong. I completed listening to this book in less than three days because I couldn't stop. I would finish one part and go to class wondering what would happen next in the book. Eventually, I just sat in the back and listened through the lectures, lol! I held my breath with Minny, waiting for the scream, and was scared the whole time for the women. This book gives a whole new meaning to 'speaking out'. I really enjoyed this book and I know the next person, after me, will also. Thanks to the author, four times the thanks to the narrators. You guys did a wonderful job.
