"The first story alone is worth the credit!!!"
Each story was worth a credit. They were very gripping and very dark. These stories are not for the faint hearted, but some of Kings best work.
"Great story a must listen!!"
Yes this book was great. I liked the "cowboy" era storyline his best storys flow and are not forced. This story flows good and is fun all the way through.
I liked it all. Steven king is an aquired taste for a narrator. Ihave learned to like like his narration.
No but i kept me interested.
It is definalty worth a listen fun and fast paced.
"Amazing! Fun all the way through!!"
The flow of the book on audio is amazing. I was finding slower longer routs to commute home. The only reason I marked down the narrator, was he sounded like a pre recorded phone message at times.
I think it was Harold Lauder. He was the wild card I found myself hating him one moment and rooting for him the next.
His voices were good, but he tended to start sounding like a computer generated voice at times.
I found myself laughing several times. King has a twisted sense of humor and uses it well to break up some of his overly tense moments.
I can not belive a book this great is only one credit. Thanks Audible for bringing these awsome books out. Also this is great because of the background research used to make it accurate everything works well the whole story through. This was a super fun ride the whole way!!
"Good book better than expected"
No I never listen to a story twice
Good book I actualy didnt want to listed to it before because of the movie. It was actualy really creepy and great narrator. I would highly recomend this for anyone who is not faint hearted.
"Six star story~!! Loved it!"
The whole story made me feel like I was a part of it. He dis a great job on the different parts and kept it fun and easy to listen to.
I waited to get this book. I wont lie the thought of a book about President Kennedy would bore me to tears. This book was amazing the Kennedy part was second to the whole story leading up to it. I didnt want this book to end. One of the best books I have ever heard a definite must get!!
"Should have stopped after the first one."
Nothing.
That it was the final book in the series.
Most everything felt like she was reading to a baby at nite time.
The last two books of the three.
I have to give it to Collins she made three times the money out of one descent book. I would have probably done the same thing. Still the Catching Fire and The Mocking Jay stunk.
"Right here and now!!"
Yes. It was good and very well read.
Everything, that guy could make a shopping list exciting.
Worth the purchase. Not the best book in the world, but not all can be. Starts a little slow but it gets better quick.
"No more McCormick please!"
Her whiney voice makes the lead girl out to be a little cry baby. I can't tell from time to time if she is reading to an adult crowd or a crowd of 3 year old children.
The story is pretty good, it lacks a little from the first but that can be expected. I just realy couldnt stant the narrators voice. I will have to wait to listen to the final book. Ican only take so much McCormick. P.S. the story is good enough to buy reguardless.
"Good and worth the money. Starts great"
Starts fast Hook
Description of events and the surrondings
The lady who read this was to whiney, made it hard to listen to as time went on.
It started that way but the narrator got on my nerves.
Good book worth the money. Just wish the narrator didnt put off the main girl as such a whiney weaklink.
"Pretty good"
This is a pretty good book well read. The plot is typical Stephen King. It starts really good and gets a bit repetitive. Over all worth listening to, I have heard a lot worse
